Bon Vivant Resorts bring together experience, integrity and a passion for developing luxury hospitality projects that largely cater to the affluent Western U.S. market.
- Founder in 2005 to develop the highest quality, lifestyle-driven real estate projects.
- Focused on five-star hospitality and luxury residential projects.
- Hospitality development arm of the Lomas Santa Fe Group, a 65-year-old, family-owned real estate development company based in San Diego. The Development team has a combined 80 years of international development experience in the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and the South Pacific.
- Senior partners’ institutional experience includes Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund (MSREF), Drexel Burnham Lambert, ING Barings, RCL Co. Phillips International, Calimax, and Viceroy Hotel Group.
- Education includes degrees from Stanford, Columbia, INSEAD, Princeton, Yale, and Monterey TEC.

Theodore E. Gildred III
Theodore Gildred III (Ted) is the CEO of the Lomas Santa Fe Group and a Co-Founding Partner of BV Resorts. Prior to joining the Lomas Santa Fe Group, Mr. Gildred worked for Morgan Stanley as a member of the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund (MSREF). He also served as a member of the Latin American Corporate Finance Group in the European investment-banking house of ING Barings in New York, focusing primarily on the real estate sector. He has studied in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, holds a BA from Stanford University, and an MBA from Columbia University. Before attending Business School, Mr. Gildred served as an Officer in the United States Martine Corps. He hold both U.S. and Mexican citizenship and speaks fluent Spanish. He is on the Board of Directors of the Institute of the Americas and the San Diego Air and Space Museum.

Frank Stork
A Co-Founding Partner of BV Resorts. Mr. Stork has collaborated with some of the leading hotel operators and architects globally and co-developed the acclaimed Downtown LA Proper Hotel with renowned designer Kelly Wearstler. Prior to founding BVR, Mr. Stork co-founded Portico Development, focusing on cinemas and innovative entertainment-driven retail concepts. Concurrently, he served as CEO of Silver Screen World Cinemas, a privately held cinema exhibition company. His earlier career includes investments banking at Drexel Burnham Lambert. As a Dutch citizen with an international background, Mr. Stork has lived in Spain and Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA in International Business from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Jose Fimbres Mendoza
Jose B. Fimbres in a member of the Board of Grupo Calimax S.A. de C.V. and also Member of Executive Committee of Grupo Calimax. A privately held corporation that operates supermarkets. With more than 120 points of sale in Northwest Mexico. Grupo Calimax also celebrates a joint venture agreement with Smart Final Stores, a U.S. based retailer. Mr. Fimbres also owns and operates Sojo Construction, a commercial and industrial real estate development firm. Focused primarily on the development of grocery anchored retail shopping centers and Industrial Buildings to support the growth in the manufacturing industry. Mr. Fimbres holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Holy Names College in Oakland, California.
